Laura’s creativity and desire to learn are expressed
through her love of nature and her keen interest in Chinese and Japanese
culture. Laura was first exposed to Asian art some 40 years ago. An antique
tea wagon that her father had purchased as a gift for her mother was decorated
with Chinese Brush Painting. Laura was so intrigued with the artistry
that a passion for the art form was born.
Laura’s studio is in Mississauga, Ontario. She has
studied under Baoxing Zhang and is a member of the Mississauga Sumi-E
Society, Sumi-E Artists of Canada, The Burlington Fine Arts Association,
Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre and the Oakville Art Society.
Laura specializes in landscapes and animals. She
combines abstract and realism to create truly one-of-a-kind artwork. Paintings
on this web site are for sale. |
